Product Information
Bring overtly ornate design to your tabletop, serveware, and kitchen decor and shop this set of silver heart dishes. Decorated in a reticulated or pierced repousse openwork pattern in the Chantilly design by Gorham silversmiths, this set of four antique sterling silver dishes add elegance and sophistication to a variety of decorative and utilitarian uses from the dining room table to the side table, coffee table, or self. Dated to the late 19th or early 20th century, circa 1895-1905, the Chantilly design pattern was developed by William Christmas Codman in 1985 and represented one of their most popular patterns.
Adding to a variety of interior decor styles, these small silver dishes are perfect for anyone looking fort antique candy dishes, or nuts dishes, or for valentines or heart-themed decorative objects in a Victorian or Edwardian style. These dishes are perfect for fitting onto side tables, and also make wonderfully decorative catchall dishes for holding small objects or for use in the dining room for serveware objects. Each dish is signed and stamped Gorham on the underside of each dish along with “sterling,” various silver hallmarks, and the number 956.
