Signed in high relief script Rondo St. Schwartz, this antique bronze plaque is by Austrian artist medallist and sculpture Stefan Schwartz, 1851–1924. Schwartz studied with the sculptor Otto Konig, in Vienna during his early studies and founded his private studio in Vienna in 1871. This work, part of a musical theme series composed of adagio and rondo. The high relief sculpture of Putti or small angel-like Children dancing in a circle around a tree.
