Entitled “Indians in camp in 1890 after Battle of Wounded Knee S.D.” South Dakota. This 19th-century image of NAtive American encampment after the historic battle of Wounded knee. The postcard depicts a landscape image photograph of the settlement with tipi’s, horses, livestock, and wagons. The image does not include any image of soldiers or other battle participants.
The reverse of the postcard photographs is unused, and the postcard itself dates to the early 20th century, circa 1900.
