The site is a complex of buildings in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, France, which contains museums and monuments, all relating to France’s military history.
The antique earthenware plate with a transfer printed landscape scene with accentuated with a thick yellow decorated rim with black lined highlights on the front and an impressed mark on the plate’s reverse. The plate is crafted from Creilware, Oise, and Montereau, known as Criel Faience, and emulates the creamware pottery of 18th century Wedgwood. Wonderful antique wall decoration for any interior decor.
