American photographer and photojournalist Walker was best known for his (FSA) Farm Security Administration work. His role was to document the effects of the Great Depression throughout rural communities and the deep South and created a large body of work that captivated the American public and presented reflections of America and the American spirit during the early 20th century. During his time working on behalf of the FSA, much of Evans’s work utilized the 8×10-inch view camera as this in this photograph for sale.
