Bronze antique Japanese ojime charm bead. Late Edo period or Tokugawa period -Meiji era, 19th century. It is signed by the artist on the side of the figural bead. The bead material is pickled patinated bronze, with gilt and silver-gilt ornamentation. The figure is possibly an Oni or mythical folklore figure.
