Shop this Chinese cinnabar lacquer circular box and cover for sale. This antique lacquer box dates to the Qing dynasty, circa the 19th century or earlier. The rounded box with deeply carved relief of a scholar and attendant in a wooded landscape and floral decoration of tendrils. The box has a small hand-carved export mark of “China” incised on the underside base.
