Antique English drawings offer a warm and enjoyable addition when decorating your room interior, and you go about selecting the appropriate wall art decor. This old drawing depicting an English cottage dates to the 19th century and was part of a collection from an English estate. Hense we attribute this work to having been created in England.
The bottom edge of the drawing is inscribed, “Lotie Beach. A charming little drawing created with graphite pencil on paper, the primitive charm and simplicity is an ideal fit for a variety of farmhouse decor or cottage styles. We date this drawing to the second half of the 19th century, 1875-1890. Initially acquired from the descendant of an English family dating back to the 17th century, this drawing was bought to the United States by decent circa 1940 and attributed to an artist family member who created this work.
