The composition is a mix of vivid colors and shapes. The artist’s original collage and painting method let the observer perceive the painting’s various layers. The bottom layer of the toned sheet lacks the strong reds and blues in the upper layer. A three-dimensional illusion is produced by the black paint weaving in and out of the colored shapes, which gives the impression that the painting is moving. The painting is dated 1964, signed by the artist, and titled Konraty. The painting is on paper with added irregular patches of extra paper, with red, blue, and black paint.
