Product Information
Shop this antique Chinese root form brush pot for sale. This wooden vessel, which dates to the Qing dynasty and was made between the 18th and 19th centuries, is decorated with magnolia form botanicals in relief carving that wrap around the bulbous room created by the gnarled edges and organic shape of the body. On the surface, there are areas of previously removed lacquer to be seen, and the base of the brush pot does not appear to be original to the upper portion of the vessel.
