This Stanislav Sucharda plaque for sale is a unique presentation of the Czech sculptures process from the century’s turn. Signed “Sucharda” in the upper right-hand corner of the square plaque, this high relief decorated panel depicts a man’s side left profile.
Cast in bronze in a combination of 19th-century traditions and 20th-century modernism relief detail, this unique panel is a cross between elements of the French impressionist sculptor Auguste Rodin Rodin and the artist’s defined realism Josef Vaclav Myslbek.
