Shop and discover this Lantara French Decorative Plate. Dated to the 19th century, this French provincial Creil Montereau faience is an ideal wall decoration for farmhouse decor or cottage decor. The plate features transfer decorated scrip and musical notes and song lyrics on a white earthenware body with a thick yellow glazed rim with black lined decoration.
The antique earthenware dish emulates the creamware perfected by Wedgwood during the late 18th century. The reverse of the plate with an “Exposition de 1819 Stamp” and another impressed “creil 11” mark.
