Shop this 20th-century double-sided hand-painted folding fan Chinese landscape painting and calligraphy for sale. One side of this hand fan displays a classical landscape painting depicting a thatched-roof hut and a scholar in a small boat—the reverse side of the art with Chinese calligraphy script. The black lacquered fan handle displays a turquoise-colored incised landscape scene.
This fan came to us from a collector of Chinese antiques in the Vermont area. We estimate this painting to be the 20th early-mid 20th century. It is ideal for a variety of interior decor styles.
